On the open expanses of Refshaleøen lies the old shipyard hall, which now forms the framework for the raw warehouse venue, POOLEN. Think warehouse – in the cool and industrial way. The setting is rough, the area is historic and industrial, and the venue is an unforgeable experience.

LOCATION

Poolen is located in an abandoned B&W warehouse at Refshalevej 189. You’ll easily find Poolen whether you choose to travel by bike, public transport or car

PARKING

There are parking spaces all over Refshaleøen. Additionally, there are more than 300 spots right in front of Poolen. All parking is paid via the EasyPark app. NB: there is no parking meter for cash.

GETTING HERE

By car

There is only one main road to Refshaleøen, it’s called Refshalevej. Poolen is located at Refshalevej 189. Put that into your GPS. When you get to Poolen they have loads of parking spots available for you next to the entrance area

By bicycle

Copenhagen is know for its bikes and you can easily rent one using the app, Donkey Republic. By bike, you can get to Poolen in various ways. It’s only 11 minutes from Kongens Nytorv and 22 minutes from Nørrebros Runddel. Once you get to Refshaleøen, just follow Refshalevej and keep Amager Bakke on you right hand side and you get to Poolen at Refshalevej 189.

By public transport

Bus 2A goes all the way to Refshaleøen. Get off at the stop called Refshalevej (end of line), and head down Refshalevej past Lille Bakery and marina Lynetten, and you’ll get to Poolen in 9 minutes. You can also take the scenic route past the festival sites of Distortion and Copenhell.

By taxi

The ride will cost you about around 30 euros from the airport directly to the venue and will take around 30min to get to the location.
