Ami Dagan

Ami Dagan is a managing partner at Random Forest VC, a venture capital firm he helped establish as part of the founding team. Random Forest is a well-recognized investment fund in Israel that invests in early-stage startups leveraging cutting-edge Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies. The fund has unique capabilities and methodologies to invest and nurture AI deep-technology startups.

Ami holds a degree in electrical engineering with a specialization in signal processing from Bar-Ilan University and has over 20 years of experience in the global high-tech industry, having worked as a tech leader in multinational companies and start-ups such as Wintegra, PMC-Sierra and Apple.

Ami began his professional journey early on, as he founded his first software company at the age of 18. After completing his BSc degree he joined the startup Wintegra and led chip manufacturing processes in Israel and Taiwan. Shortly after the Apple R&D center opened in Israel, Ami joined the Apple R&D team, where he worked for several years on the company’s most advanced products. Ami has been an investor and advisor to several startup companies during his career and has been involved in the field of AI for the past decade.
