Ignat Bobrovich
Ignat Bobrovich is an experienced professional in the esports and gaming industry, with a background spanning competitive play, event organisation, technology development, and policy advisory. A former professional esports athlete, he has been engaged in esports across multiple roles since 2000.
He is the founder of Passport.GG, a SaaS platform supporting esports event organisers, which has been used in more than 40 countries (notable projects - IESF Asia Open, Afrika Esports Series).
He also leads Valvur, a cybersecurity solution designed specifically for the gaming and esports environment, leveraging AI, blockchain and PQC Encryption to build a safer future for kids and their parents.
In addition to his entrepreneurial activities, Ignat is the author of the industry-focused book Esports: Insider Tips on Succeeding in the Industry that is Shaping the Future of Entertainment (Palgrave Macmillan, 2024). His work as the Chairman of Esports.NGO supports federations, universities, brands, and governments in aligning esports with broader innovation and engagement strategies.
Earlier in his career, he held roles in management consulting and marketing within a global FMCG company, providing him with a strong foundation in business strategy and market operations.
