Henriette Svarre Nielsen

Henriette Svarre Nielsen it the Chief Physician and Chair Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Copenhagen University Hospital and

University of Copenhagen. In addition to being active in the clinic she leads a large research group within

women’s health.

In 2005, she founded Maternity Foundation, an NGO aiming to save lives in childbirths. Their safe delivery

platform has been used by more than 450,000 health care workers in more than 70 countries. She is a co-

founder of LuluHealth and NimaLife.
