Mark Schneider

Mark H. Schneider has been an angel investor since 1999, and currently serves as Chairman of New York Angels Mark’s
angel group memberships have included Angel Investor Forum where he was a member of the board, Mid-Atlantic
Bioangels and Golden Seeds. In addition to serving on a number of portfolio company boards, he also co-manages New
York Angel’s side-car funds. His angel portfolio has included in excess of 100 companies over a wide range of interests
including health information systems, medical technology, new media, infrastructure software, web-enabled business
services and industrial products. Prior to becoming an Angel Investor, Mark was founder and CEO of a group of B2B
software companies which provided software, systems, and transaction services to the pharmaceutical fulfillment industry.
After growing the company from zero to 100 employees, he exited and turned his full-time business efforts to investing in
young startups. Mark holds a Master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology/Sloan School of
Management (1978) as well as a Master’s degree in Engineering from MIT (1977) and a Bachelor of Science in
Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University (1976).
