Sid Ali Zerrouki
Mr. Sid Ali Zerrouki is an accomplished ICT and technology expert with over 25 years of experience in the field of Telecommunication and more than 10 years in startup, entrepreneurship, and innovation. He is a well-known keynote speaker, ecosystem builder, and serial entrepreneur,
having founded several successful startups in the past decade. He holds a Master’s Degree in International Management from the prestigious University Paris 1 Pantheon Sorbonne, as well as an Executive MBA and an MBA with a technology focus.
As a serial entrepreneur with valuable insights on how to empower entrepreneurs, he has made significant contributions to support entrepreneurship and innovation in the region, including creating funds of over $80M and architecting many actions to foster growth. Hundreds of startups have received support from him, and over 100,000 aspiring entrepreneurs have been trained, helping to drive economic growth and job creation. Additionally, he has demonstrated his expertise in startup investment by closing several million-dollar deals in pre-seed and seed funding.
Mr. Zerrouki’s expertise has been recognized through various high-profile positions. He has served in CxO roles with Orascom Telecom, Veon, Millicom/Tigo, Axiata, Cybercom, Huawei, Schlumberger, and is a former Vice President of the Global Startup Committee at the World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF). He is also a board member at both the Group of Algerian Actors for Digitalization (GAAN) and Mentor Gate in the Netherlands. Currently, he is the Vice President for the African Startup Investment Committee at the World Leaders Summit (WLS).
