Páirc Uí Chaoimh

The main EBAN Congress will run over 2 days in May 2022 in Cork City in the South West of Ireland and will take place in Páirc Uí Chaoimh the Gaelic games stadium in Cork. It is the home of Cork GAA. The venue, often referred to simply as The Park, is located in Ballintemple and is built near the site of the original Cork Athletic Grounds. Primarily used as a venue for Gaelic games, it has been used to host Cork’s home league and championship games in both Gaelic football and hurling. The finals of both the Cork hurling and football championships have often been held at the venue. It has also hosted concerts by Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen,  Prince, U2, The Stone Roses, Oasis, and Ed Sheeran.

Páirc Uí Chaoimh is conveniently located just 5 minutes from Cork City Centre, 10 minutes from Cork airport and 5 minutes from both Cork Bus and Train stations.

The venue offers excellent public transport links and free parking for up to 200 cars for conferences. There is no parking on site for match days or concerts.

Public Transport – Bus From Cork City

The 202 Bus Route is the closest route to Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

The stop for Páirc Uí Chaoimh is in Ballintemple on the Blackrock Road (by the pharmacy). Páirc Uí Chaoimh is approximately a 250 metre walk from this stop.

How do I get to Páirc Uí Chaoimh?

To facilitate your Congress experience we have put in place free #EBANCork buses that can take you directly from the Imperial Hotel to the Congress Venue, Páirc Uí Chaoimh, and back.

Driving From the City Centre
  • Driving from Patrick Street in Cork City Centre, turn right onto Merchants Quay/N8 and continue straight onto Andersons Quay passing Cork Bus Station.
  • At Andersons Quay turn right onto Custom House Street/N27.
  • At the end of Eamon De Valera Bridge turn left onto Albert Quay and follow the road onto Victoria Road.
  • At the roundabout take the first exit onto Centre Park Road.
  • Continue this road for 1.5km – this road becomes The Marina (the river is on your left) and the entrance to Páirc Uí Chaoimh is just past the Lee Rowing Club on your right.
  • Follow the signs facing you to your conference entrance (City End/Blackrock end).

Driving From Cork Airport

  • Take the second exit on three consecutive roundabouts on Avenue 2000 when leaving Cork Airport.
  • At the 4th roundabout take the 1st exit to join the N27.
  • At the Kinsale road roundabout takes the second exit onto South Link Road/N27.
  • Go straight through two sets of traffic lights.
  • At the third set of traffic lights continue straight onto Eglinton Street.
  • Turn right onto Albert Quay and go straight onto Victoria Road.
  • At the roundabout take the first exit onto Centre Park Road.
  • Continue this road for 1.5km – this road becomes The Marina (the river is on your left) and the entrance to Páirc Uí Chaoimh is just past the Lee Rowing Club on your right.
  • Follow the signs facing you to your conference entrance (City End/Blackrock end).

Is there parking at Páirc Uí Chaoimh? YES

Páirc Uí Chaoimh Conference Centre has onsite complimentary parking. These spaces can only be accessed from The Marina entrance to the site by driving to the stadium via Centre Park Road and onto the Marina. The entrance to the stadium is on your right immediately after the Lee Rowing Club.

  • When you enter the Páirc Uí Chaoimh site please pay attention to the sign in front of you.
  • Turn right at the entrance gate to bring you to the City End Premium/Conference entrance
  • There are wheelchair spaces reserved close to both entrances for those who require them.
